Interactive run-time tracing system
LiveCODE is an interactive run-time tracing system that allows developers to trace and analyze the execution history of their application software as it is running in the target system. With LiveCODE, developers can interact with the program as it executes, select portions of code to trace, insert debug
statements, or modify variables without interrupting execution or having to recompile the application. LiveCODE is available initially for the Power PC architecture and the Tornado/VxWorks development environment. It consists of two primary components: the host GUI application, which provides an interactive trace environment, and the target monitor. LiveCODE for Power PC architectures (on Windows and Solaris host systems) is available now. Pricing starts at $4,000 in single-unit quantities.
