It's amazingly busy, post holiday

We seem to ease into the holiday season, but we definitely don't ease back out. It's all systems go, almost immediately after the beginning of the new year. CES has a way of doing that. I'm not attending the show personally this year, but I'm well aware of the happenings taking place, as we have a team covering this important event.

In addition, there are lots of internal meetings, and all the stuff that we said, "let's wait till after the new year." It's planning for 2009, and trying to figure out just how this economy is affecting our industry.

Over the holiday break, I was able to tackle a couple of projects that I had been putting off, such as putting one of Atmel's development kits through the paces. I'll report on that experience in the next few days. Tomorrow, I get to interview Steve Sanghi, one of ESC keynoters, so I'm pretty excited about that. I'm hoping to come back with some video footage from that interview.

Enough for now.
