Speaking of security, how about smart security

I recently ran across a company that's taking security to the next level, by embedding the smarts that can differentiate between a random occurrence and a real emergency. SightLogix, based in New Jersey, seems to be high on the list of the investment community.

Using embedded processing, the company's cameras can tell, for example, whether a person has climbed over a security fence or is just walking beside it. That's a big difference if your valuables are on the near side of the fence. Application areas for the cameras include transportation, energy, utility, chemical, information technology, public safety, and defense.
