Serial I/O protocols
Here is a collection of content on the various serial I/O protocols and the interfaces for converting parallel 8-16-32-bit I/O into a more compact 1-2 bit serial form used in embedded systems design. They range from protocols used in simple chip-to-chip communications at a few hundreds of bits per second to those used in advanced systems operating at millions of bits per second.
