INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROVIDING LINKS TO DOWNLOADABLE DEMOS
Embedded.com welcomes the addition of links to downloadable demos of products relevant to embedded systems developers. This service is provided at no cost to vendors or developers.
The service gives developers a single location to find a wide variety of demo software. It gives vendors the opportunity to put their tools in front of more than 80,000 developers who regularly visit Embedded.com.
Newly posted demos are promoted in the weekly newsletter, and their links appear prominently at the beginning of the download page.
To submit a candidate for inclusion on the downloadable demos page of Embedded.com, please provide a direct link to your download page and a brief (50 to 100 words) description of the product, which will be edited by the editorial staff and posted on the Embedded.com download page. Send this information to Bernard Cole at bccole@acm.org.
To help make the experience as useful and pain free as possible for developers, please make sure that the link takes them as close as possible to the actual download. If you wish to collect information from developers prior to allowing them to download your software, please limit it to NAME, TITLE, COMPANY, and E-MAIL ADDRESS.
