Earlier this year we posted a feature "Advanced HMI technologies enable integrated automotive center console design." The authors have since broadened their look at capacitive sensing technology in automotive applications in a wider ranging article, including passive keyless entry. They also look at applications of the technology in areas outside automotive, such as liquid level sensing.
