Bjarne Stroustrup to discuss latest C++ developments
Bjarne Stroustrup, the father of C++, will appear in conversation with David Intersimone at Embarcadero's free CodeRage online conference on Monday, December 10, 2012 from 8am to 8:45 am PST. Stroustrup and Intersimone will be discussing ISO C++11's new features and strengths, application portability, and C++'s ubiquity in the market.
Embarcadero produces C++ Builder, a RAD C++ GUI development tool for native apps used by some embedded systems developers in industrial and robotics control, among others. The company is holding its CodeRage 7 developer conference online. The C++ portion of the conference runs December 10 through 12.
Intersimone is Embarcadero's vice president of developer relations. The conversation will be followed by product announcement on C++ Builder.
