Anobit claims industry’s fastest embedded flash controller for smartphones and tablets

Anobit recently announced a new flash controller designed for high-performance and ultra-low power embedded applications such as smartphones and tablet computers. Supporting up to 256 GB/16 dies of NAND flash, the MSP2025 delivers 666 MB/sec data transfer rate, which, according to Anobit, makes it the highest performing low-power embedded flash controller on the market today.
 
Using the company's MSP™ (Memory Signal Processing) technology, the MSP2025 support 20nm and sub-20nm NAND flash, which Anobit reports is an industry first and results in a significant reduction in cost-per-bit. The embedded flash control features a dual-host interface.
