COM Express module is powered by ultra-low-power AMD G-Series

The CEM100 from Axiomtek is a new low-power COM Express Type 2 module powered by either a single core AMD G-Series APU T40R at 1.0GHz or the dual core T56N at 1.65 GHz paired with the A55E FCH chipset. The platform comes with two DDR3 1066 MHz SO-DIMM slots for up to 8 GB of system memory and four SATA ports with RAID 0, 1, 10, 5.

Integrated with Radeon HD 6250/6320 graphics controller with support for DirectX 11 and OpenGL 4.0, the CEM100 features two DDI, 18/24-bit single/dual channel LVDS and VGA display interfaces. The board also provides four 32-bit PCI plus eight PCIe x1 Gen 2.0 slots for I/O expansion. For security, TPM 1.2 is also integrated into this board.

The CEM100 comes with multiple display outputs: 18/24-bit single/dual channel LVDS, VGA, and two DDI displays. The developer can operate modern DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI, and DPO graphical interfaces through the DDI on this board. Its four PCI and eight lanes of PCIe expansion buses maximize the flexibility of system development.

Integrated with the baseboard, the CEM100 has the capability of eight Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ports, AC’97/HD Audio, four SATA-600, one Gigabit LAN, LPC interface, SPI, PATA-100 IDE, eight lanes of PCIe, and four PCI expansions. The built-in Watchdog Timer keeps system running smoothly. Additionally, the CEM100 supports operation system like Windows 7, Windows XP embedded and Linux.
