The OS-9 is now available for Hitachi's SH-3 and SH-4 32-bit RISC processors. The release includes the RTOS itself, POSIX extensions, and support for IEEE 1394, and USB. The Hitachi SH-3 and SH-4 were developed for use in embedded applications, especially personal information devices that require on-screen displays. OS-9 is available now.
