The 68HC908LJ12 microcontroller features a liquid crystal display (LCD) driver that connects directly to LCD panels. The chip facilitates the integration of LCDs into lower-cost devices. Its features include a real-time clock module; a UART serial communications system; a serial peripheral interface; a 10-bit, six-channel analog-to-digital converter; a 32MHz phase-locked loop; and 12KB of on-chip flash memory. The 68HC908LJ12 is available now for $4 apiece.
