ActiveCM is an automated, transparent, configuration management (CM) tool. It resides as a Windows Task Bar service that monitors CM Synergy project files on your Windows file system and automatically registers appropriate changes with the CM Synergy repository. Available as an optional feature of Synergy development software, ActiveCM hides 90% of typical user/CM interactions. Routine CM activities, such as changing, renaming, and creating new files, are automated and require no manual operations.

Telelogic Synergy with ActiveCM does not require specific installations for each Windows-based integrated development environment. This enables developers to work with whatever IDE or build tool they are used to.

ActiveCM checks out changed files automatically during builds, ignores superfluous temporary files, and facilitates the addition of new filters for transparent integration with new tools. Because ActiveCM version management operations occur in a separate channel automatically, users can continue development tasks without interruptions. ActiveCM is available now.
