The PL 3120 and PL 3150 Power Line Smart Transceivers are based on open ANSI standards, have an 8-bit Neuron Chip core, and PLT-22 Power Line Transceiver technology. The transceivers can send information from everyday devices through a building's AC power wiring and can be used in sensors, actuators, switches, lamps and energy meters (PL 3120) or larger applications (PL 3150). They have digital signal processing, error correction, 4KB of nonvolatile memory, 2KB RAM, I/O drivers, task scheduler, and ANSI/EIA 709.1 networking protocol in ROM. Samples are available now.
