2001 expands analogue portfolio

LONDON — 2001 Electronic Components has signed a deal to be the sole distributor of LSI/CSI incremental encoder interface ICs in the UK.

2001 (Stevenage, England) has team of 8 field applications engineers and the deal is said to be based on their knowledge and experience of the analogue market. Roy Greer, Managing Director of 2001, said, “Since its inception in 1969, LSI/CSI has been engaged in the design and production of full custom and standard integrated circuits. Their wide range of industrial, consumer and military products adds to our extensive line up of analogue manufacturers.”

Cheryl Jones, who heads up the Analogue Division at 2001, added, “LSI/CSI brings innovative products to 2001 covering lighting, counters, timers, interface, PIR, motor control, dividers and programmable digital locks. We already have some interesting design projects underway based on some of the unique parts now available to us.”
