LONDON Distributor 2001 Electronic Components (Stevenage, England) has signed an agreement with Via Technologies to sell their full range of embedded processor platforms for the U.K. and Ireland. The company has also signed the line in Finland through its subsidiary, Fintronic.
“We have consistently invested in key technology lines, which has enabled 2001 to work with customers across the board on new projects and markets,” said Roy Greer, 2001's managing director. “The Via platform and the extensive range of quality support products is ideal for the UK market and will enhance our position as a leading supplier of high technology”
“The addition of the VIA Embedded line means we can now offer our customers a complete range of embedded platforms; from low cost 8/16-bit C-programmable modules and SBCs; through to versatile ARM 32-bit boards; Intel Atom-based modules and now fully integrated, low power, small form factor x86 machines,” added Greer.
