In his new role as Director of Operations, Wood takes responsibility for all back-office infrastructure, including the enhancements needed in IT systems, as well as system processes legal and contractual obligations and regulatory compliance. A particular responsibility is staff training in these processes and other areas. He has over twenty years in electronic component distribution, including 14 years at Abacus.

He has 24 years experience in logistics in the electronics and chemical industries.
As Director of Inventory, Nicol will take charge of the management of inventory levels throughout the Group, and look at related issues such as RoHS compliance.
