Acal continues to re-brand group companies

Redhill, UK — Two more of the Acal distribution group's UK companies are changing their names to come under the Acal banner.

Leicester-based Townsend Coates, which distributes connectors, switches, and electromechanical components, and has a separate division supplying a range of Micro-joining and robotic production equipment, has become Acal TC.

Egham-based Radiatron which supplies connectors, enclosures, circuit protection devices, thermal management panel products and relays and sensors, is being re-named ACAL Radiatron. The company became part of the ACAL group over 4 years ago.

John Roe, sales & marketing director Acal Radiatron, said, “Over the last few years as part of Acal we have increasingly been involved in strategic projects with our customers, offering custom design expertise and project management, as well as supplying their electromechanical components. For those customers, knowing that the strength of Acal was behind us has been particularly important, and as the industry begins to look for growth again, that security will become important for a wider range of buyers”.

Being part of ACAL has been an important factor in attracting new supplier partnerships according to Roe.

The latest rebranding follows the trend of Gothic Crellon who changed to Acal Technologies earlier this year.
