RF Engines (RFEL), which is based on the Isle of Wight has granted another evaluation license to a department of the UK Ministry of Defence for its Pipelined Frequency Transform (PFT) technology. This follows two successful deals with undisclosed US defence manufacturers. The PFT, which was initially developed for commercial communication and instrumentation products. The technology is used, alongside other IP, to form single chip solutions for applications that require real time, simultaneous processing of a wide band of radio f frequency (RF) signals.
