London, UK Analog Devices has presented Arrow Electronics with its Distributor of the Year award in recognition of the company's efforts in growing and supporting Analog Devices sales in Northern Europe during 2003.
The Analog Devices Northern European Distributor of the Year award is based on best overall distributor performance and takes into account a range of criteria, including customer support, investment in marketing programmes, and sales growth.
Lennart Bonstrom, Northern European distribution manager for Analog Devices, said, “I am very pleased with Arrow's sales growth for Analog Devices in Northern Europe, which we see as a result of Arrow's combination of excellent technical and logistical support and solid product promotion activities.”
Arrow achieved sales growth that was in excess of market growth in the region and Chris McAneny, Arrow's northern European marketing director, said, “Arrow has combined high levels of engineering, commercial and logistics support with focused market development programmes to grow its share of the northern European market. This award recognises the hard work that Arrow has put into maintaining its position as Analog Devices' number one distributor in the region, as well as the great relationship that has been built between our two companies.”
Arrow handles the full range of Analog Devices semiconductors in the UK, Ireland, the Nordic region and the Baltic States.
