Amplicon to distribute ZTEC PXI and VXI Instruments

LONDON — Amplicon has signed a distribution agreement with ZTEC Instruments, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to supply PXI and VXI instrumentation devices which are suitable for military, avionic and R&D applications.

Mark Morris, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, ZTEC, soid, “We were looking for a distributor in the UK that could offer technical support and excellent customer service. Amplicon excels in both of these areas. We are sure that this partnership will be positive for all concerned.”

John Hayward, Amplicon's Data Acquisition Product Manager, added, “By offering the ZTEC range to our customers, we will be giving them a complete solution.”

The products include several high performance Digital Storage Oscilloscopes (DSO) ranging from 200MS/s up to 1GS/s, suited to mixed signal test and high speed signal acquisition in both legacy and next generation modular systems. A 3GHz 'three-in-one' RF Signal Analyser for ATE and field measurement of telecoms and radar systems is also available. This provides the three functions of frequency counter, peak power meter and time interval analyser in a single package that can be used in a portable PXI chassis.

In addition a 14-bit 300MS/s arbitrary waveform generator, and a timing device offering onboard GPS functionality, fast star trigger, flexible PXI trigger routing and multiple PXI chassis synchronisation, are available.
