LONDON Artemisia Association is organising a brokerage event for candidates to participate in project consortia of the 2nd Call for Proposals of the Artemis Joint Undertaking (JU).
The event will take place on January 13 and 14 in Brussels. Artemisia is the association representing industry, SMEs, universities and research institutes – in embedded systems research and development.
The launch of the 2nd call of the Artemis JU is expected February 28. The 2nd Call will focus on selected priority areas in embedded systems fundamental to the long-term competitiveness of European industry.
“Embedded systems know-how lies at the heart of European industry’s competitiveness, and is a vital element in assuring future economic growth and stability to the benefit of European citizens at large,” said Dr Klaus Grimm, president of Artemisia.
The funding for the 2nd Call is expected to be substantial and includes national funding and a matching contribution from the JU itself.
Information days will also be held in Budapest, Kopenhagen and London to complement the consortium building.
