Ashling rolls SmartICE dev platform for NXP SmartCard devices

Ashling Microsystems has launched a new set of tools for NXP SmartCard SmartMX (P5) and SmartMX2 (P60) families. Developed in co-operation with NXP, the tools include the Ashling SmartICE hardware emulator, Ashling PathFinder source-level debugger and Keil uVision4 plug-in driver.

The new SmartICE platform advances the state-of-the-art for SmartCard development tools and allows effective real-time debugging, program-execution analysis, optimization and validation of applications running on NXP SmartCard platforms at a competitive price.

The Ashling SmartICE extends Keil PK51 to a complete solution for target debugging on the SmartMX hardware. SmartICE is fully integrated into the ┬ÁVision Debugger and gives PK51 users powerful capabilities for program test and verification.

A SmartICE data sheet is available here. The tools are available directly from Ashling and its sales representatives, or use this form.
