Axiomtek: 1U network appliance with 2nd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processor


Axiomtek is introducing the NA861, a high-performance, customizable 1U rackmount network appliance platform. This scalable network appliance platform offers high processing performance through the LGA3647 socket 2nd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processor (codename: Cascade Lake) and supports the Intel C621 chipset. The robust and highly reliable network appliance platform comes with two Gigabit Ethernet ports and four expandable LAN modules supporting 1GbE/10GbE/Fiber/Copper/Bypass with a maximum of thirty-four LAN ports. The NA861 is the perfect network hardware solution for enhancing digital security & surveillance, network traffic management and virtualized network security.

The NA861 is equipped with six DDR4-2400 R-DIMM slots supporting up to 192GB of non-buffer non-ECC/ECC memory. The Intel Xeon-based network computing appliance also has two internal 2.5” SATA hard drives and one mSATA for event logs storage. The 1U rackmount network appliance platform has multiple I/O interfaces including one RS-232 port (RJ-type), two USB 2.0 ports, one VGA port, two RJ-45 GbE LAN ports with Intel® Ethernet Controller i210-AT and one VGA port. Additionally, the network appliance platform supports 1U 400W redundant power supply and Linux Kernel operating system.

It also supports Trusted Platform Module 1.2 to provide efficient data encryption for secure hardware-based data protection.”
