The good news is that I just heard from my chums at the Barr Group that they are holding their survey of embedded systems design practices and trends for the third consecutive year (see also my blog on the Embedded C Coding Standard, which was written by Michael Barr and his colleagues).
The bad news is that this survey closes at the end of this month (January 31), which is tomorrow as I pen these words (eeek).

So, if you are a professional designer of embedded systems (hardware and/or software), it would be great if you could help them out with this industry-wide endeavor by giving them five minutes of your time to complete This Survey.
Participants who complete the survey are eligible to win one of two Saleae Logic 8 USB logic analyzers or one of three $25 Amazon Gift cards.
The folks at the Barr Group say that, based on this survey, they will be sharing key findings about our industry in February and I, for one, cannot wait to hear what they have to say.
