LONDON Powerstax has appointed Breckenridge Technologies as the first of its new network of manufacturers representatives. The signing of the Coventry based firm marks the initial stage of Powerstax’s strategic re-structure to enhance the existing sales channel with the manufacturers representatives model which has been so successful for the company in the North American market.
Powerstax (Farnborough, UK) was know until recently as Advanced Power Conversion and Hugh Wratten, the company's Sales Channel and Key Account Manager, said, “We believe the relationship with between Powerstax and Breckenridge will bring tremendous opportunities in the UK power supply marketplace. It will allow designers to resolve power issues earlier in the development cycle, saving costs and reduce their time to market”.
Powerstax supplies AC, DC and Custom power supplies while a complementary offering from Breckenridge should mean that UK customers will get virtually independent, unbiased technical advice about appropriate power solutions at every level for their designs.
