LONDON Cambridge Broadband Ltd has appointed Graham Peel as executive vice president of operations.
Peel joins Cambridge Broadband from Keronite, where he established specialist manufacturing operations in the U.K. and the U.S. and served as CEO from 2001 to 2005. Previously he was managing director of Lotus Cars.
“Demand for our wireless transmission platform continues to increase, particularly among cellular operators, and we are rapidly growing our customer base. Graham's broad experience in the manufacturing world is important to enable increased flexibility, lower cost and shorter lead times in our supply chain,” said Bjorn Krylander, Cambridge Broadband's chief executive officer.
Cambridge Broadband provides telecommunications operators with carrier-class wireless point-to-multipoint transmission equipment. It products have been commercially deployed and technically proven in more than 30 countries. Headquarters in Cambridge, it has offices in Malaysia and South Africa and manufacturing facilities in China and the U.K.
