LONDON Contract electronics manufacturer, Prism Electronics, has appointed David Bance as its new head of operations.
Prism (St. Ives, England) grew its business by more than 25 percent last year and its workforce by more than a third and now employs 39 people. Bance will take responsibility for the company's manufacturing operations and its continued development to facilitate projected future growth.
Bance, a chartered electrical engineer, joins Prism from Cambridge University's Institute of Manufacturing where he was an industrial research fellow involved with researching performance measurements for supply networks.
Prior to that he worked at Domino Printing Sciences where he was manufacturing engineering manager and also worked in the company's research and development and commercial printing divisions. He has also been a quality systems consultant.
