CEM beefs up design team

LOUGHBOROUGH, England — Contract electronics manufacturer, Datalink Electronics, has hired Arash Ghadar-Ghadr as an electronic and control systems design engineer for its consultancy and design department.

Ghadar-Ghadr has a background in the electronics and industrial automation industries and has conducted many projects on industrial control systems. He also has a wide range of experience in electrical engineering including embedded systems, industrial automation and the development of PC-based solutions for industrial applications.

Datalink Electronics recently acquired Quasson, which makes components for Autocue prompting devices and broadcast software, from Autocue itself and the group is on course to achieve annual sales of £9 million by 2006.
