Conexant designed both the CX95710 and CX95810 to enable up to 40 percent power reduction over previous generations – while still maintaining optimal performance. This was achieved by employing advanced design techniques, clock gating, advanced clock management in low power states, and integration of an optional charge pump for maximum efficiency.
To ensure performance and reliability excellence, Conexant performs VoIP testing against the ITU-T G.1050 standard. In testing against the ITU-T G.1050 model, the CX95710 demonstrated a superior 97 percent V.34 connectivity over an enterprise network – far eclipsing any other fax modem on the market today.
The CX95710, a data pump (controller-less) solution, supports the same field-proven firmware of previous generations – enabling a straightforward design migration. The CX95810, an AT command controller solution, allows for further ease of design and brings Conexant’s class-leading fax architecture to a wider audience not familiar with data pump designs. The CX95810 leverages the proven AT command controller from Conexant’s popular data modems and allows simple programming of the fax modem through standard AT commands.
