Chipidea adds ARC for Bluetooth solution

Chipidea Microelectronics, a supplier of analog and mixed-signal IP, has licensed the ARCtangent-A4 microprocessor for use in a Bluetooth solution. The System-IP solution, which will include RF analog baseband, the ARC processor, and embedded memory, will become part of Chipidea's Virtual IP Builder application.

Chipidea was set up in 1997 and has its headquarters in Lisbon, Portugal , as well as other offices near Porto, Gdansk in Poland and Macau in China.
