Congatec more than doubles board sales
LONDON Embedded board developer Congatec AG more than doubled its sales in 2008 from €12million (about $15million) to €27million (about $34million).
The company a number of new contracts in the automation and medical technology sectors provided the highest levels of turnover gain.
The company expects further significant sales increases in the current business year, forecasting growth percentages into the high double figures.
Christian Eder, marketing manager at Congatec, said, “We are confident about 2009 and we even think that the current economic crisis may have some opportunities in store for companies such as ours.”
Based in Deggendorf, Germany, the company designs and markets industrial computer modules based on standard form factors.
