LONDON CSR has won the techMARK Company of the Year Award sponsored by Piper Jaffray, which recognised its commercial and technological achievements over the past year.
CSR came out top of a shortlist that included Wolfson Microelectronics, royalblue Group, Gyrus Group and Aveva Group to scoop the top accolade. In order to be shortlisted, a company must have demonstrated sound commercial and financial success based on their technological development. In addition, companies will also have proven outstanding long-term growth potential and a solid strategy to develop shareholder value in the future.
During the last twelve months, CSR has acquired Clarity Technologies and UbiNetics in order to help the company develop its technology portfolio and expand its software development resource, and has also opened offices and development centres in Lund, Sweden and Sophia Antipolis, France.
It has grown in size to 671 employees at its headquarters in Cambridge and offices in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, India, France, Denmark, Sweden and both Texas and Detroit in the U.S.
