LONDON CSR has been awarded a techMARK Achievement of the Year Award, which recognises the top performing companies in the quoted technology industry.
This award follows recent accolades from the National Business Awards and the European Electronics Industry Awards.
Nigel Hopes at main sponsor PricewaterhouseCoopers, said, “CSR started 2004 with the most successful technology IPO in three years. New product development and strong market leadership have ensured continued growth and performance for this company. Despite the IPO window being pretty firmly closed, CSR not only achieved a successful flotation, but also a very successful after-market in the shares, as is evidenced by the current share price of 356p compared with a float price of 200p.”
John Hodgson, CEO CSR, said, “2004 has been a great year for CSR. We've experienced an extremely successful IPO, extended our lead over our competitors with the launch of our enhanced data rate (EDR) Bluetooth silicon, BlueCore4, and its subsequent confirmation as the first silicon to qualify to the newly-launched v2.0+EDR specification. With the launch of our UniFi 802.11a/b/g single chip, and the continuing strength of the Bluetooth market, we expect 2005 to be an equally exciting year.”
