Stockholm, Sweden, and San Jose, Calif., – Enea has announced version 2.0 of its dSPEED platform for managing digital signal processor (DSP) clusters. The platform targets wireless infrastructure, video gateways, and other high-performance DSP applications.
Built atop the Enea' LINX inter process communication (IPC) services, Enea dSPEED 2.0 adds support for more DSPs, management processors, and boards. Supported DSPs include the TI C64x+ family, the LSI SP2603 and the Enea OSE' ck Soft Kernel simulator. Also supported are a broad range of management processors, such as Freescale PQIII MPC8548, x86, PowerPC and Enea OSE Soft Kernel.
The Enea dSPEED Platform 2.0 includes out-of-the-box support for the RadiSys Promentum ATCA-9100 board. dSPEED 2.0 also supports board vendors such as Mercury MTI-104 and BCC-101 and Embedded Planet EP8548A.
