dSPACE opens Japanese subsidiary
LONDON dSPACE (Paderborn, Germany) has set up a subsidiary in Yokohama, Japan with Japan K.K. becoming the company's fourth international subsidiary.
dSPACE's presence in Japan goes back 15 years, with LinX as its distributor. Its products are increasingly being used in production-close sections of the automotive industry, for example, TargetLink for production code generation and hardware-in-the-loop simulators for integration and acceptance tests on electronic control units.
The company believes that this trend, and tight schedules, mean that users have intensive support requirements. With its own staff on site, dSPACE can now respond to customers' queries and requirements fast and flexibly, providing optimum support for implementing large-scale projects.
