TargetLink 3.3 is the new version of dSPACE's production code generator, providing expanded features for AUTOSAR-compliant development of electronic control units and supporting the latest AUTOSAR standards 4.0 and 3.2.
The new version simplifies modular development with more powerful incremental code generation and improved data management. dSPACE has also enhanced TargetLink's user friendliness and its integration with MATLAB/Simulink. These features make model-based design with automatic code generation more efficient for AUTOSAR-compliant projects, conventional projects, and ISO 26262- or IEC 61508-compliant development projects.
The revised AUTOSAR module for TargetLink 3.3 offers users a wide variety of features to develop software components according to AUTOSAR standards 4.0 and 3.2. The concept of native AUTOSAR support in TargetLink is expanded, and includes component design and AUTOSAR data management, implementation, and component tests so that various stages of embedded software development can be covered.
For AUTOSAR-compliant development in combination with dSPACE’s system architecture software SystemDesk, TargetLink now provides increased user convenience and more transparency through software component container (SWC) exchange.

TargetLink 3.3. is available in 32-bit and 64-bit versions, and supports multiple MATLAB releases. The new 64-bit version of TargetLink is especially useful for simplifying development work with large models.
Modular, component-based work with TargetLink is significantly optimized by a more powerful incremental code generation for subsystems and referenced models. TargetLink's own mechanism for reusing generated code is extended substantially.
The data management system in the dSPACE Data Dictionary is considerably extended by multiple workspaces with Diff&Merge functionality. This protects and simplifies iterative data exchange with other tools (round trip), for easier integration into the tool chain. Further new features in multirate modeling, life cycle analysis for increased code efficiency, and various modeling and usability enhancements round off this newest TargetLink version.
