London, UK — DT Electronics has signed its first major passives and electromechanical components franchise in a deal with Dubilier. The agreement covers connectors, batteries, fans, fuses, capacitors, resistors, crystals and varistors.

Tony Frere, DT's managing director, said, “This is not a case of DT trying to compete with larger broadline distributors. Rather, we are responding to the needs of our customers in their supplier reduction programmes.
