Tiny comparator for space-constrained applications

Occupying a footprint of less than 1 mm2, the TS985 micropower rail-to-rail comparator from STMicroelectronics operates from a supply voltage as low as 1.8 V. The device’s 0.8×1.2×0.52-mm chip-scale package allows its use in space-constrained applications such as smart phones, smart watches, digital cameras, IoT devices, and portable test equipment.

Through its rail-to-rail input, the TS985 accepts signal amplitudes up to the supply voltage (1.8 V to 5 V).
