The PL-80580 embedded box PC from WIN Enterprises offers a small form factor and temperature tolerance for industrial IoT gateway and networking applications. Powered by an Intel Atom E3800 processor—a system-on-chip intended for intelligent systems—the fanless PL-80580 operates over a temperature range of -10°C to +60°C and occupies a footprint of just 216×142 mm with a height of 37.5 mm.

The PL-80580 offers a choice of three Atom E3800 processors leveraging single, dual, and quad cores; clock speeds of up to 1.91 GHz; and a thermal design power range of 5 W to 10 W. Manufactured on a 22-nm process with 3-D tri-gate transistors, the E3800 provides high I/O connectivity, an integrated memory controller, virtualization, error correcting code, and built-in security capabilities.

System I/O includes two Intel i210AT PCIe GbE, one HDMI, one VGA, one RS-232/422/485, three RS-232, one USB 3.0, and two USB 2.0 ports. The industrial PC also offers expansion via one full-size Mini-PCIe slot and one half-size Mini-PCIe slot. Each unit ships with a 12-V/60-W power adapter, utility driver CD, a SATA cable, and a 5-V power cable for a SATA hard drive.
