System targets IoT data capture for manufacturing
WIN Enterprises’ PL-50010 embedded PC packs four USB 3.0 COM ports to provide serial connections for gathering and storing factory-line information. The unit also furnishes two USB 2.0 ports that can be used to augment a factory-based IoT architecture by capturing video of manufacturing processes. Video and numeric data can be shared with an edge server and forwarded to the cloud for storage and analysis.
The PL-50010 offers a choice of 7th and 6th Generation Intel Core i7, i5, and i3 processors running at speeds ranging from 2.3 GHz to 2.6 GHz. Two 260-pin SODIMMs supply up to 32 Gbytes of dual-channel DDR4 memory (1866/2133 MHz). Other features include two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two HDMI display ports, and two audio connections (one line out and one mic in). The computer also accommodates an internal 2.5-in. SATA 3.0 hard drive and furnishes a half-size Mini PCIe socket for expansion.
Housed in an IP40-rated aluminum and steel enclosure, the PL-50010 embedded computer has dimensions of 115×48.7×111 mm (W×H×D). Certifications include CE, FCC, Class A, RoHS, and UL/cUL.
