Audio power amp targets wireless speaker designs
Leveraging spread-spectrum modulation, the PAM8106 stereo Class D amplifier from Diodes is capable of driving both 8 Ω and 4 Ω speakers. The audio power amp operates over an input voltage range of 4.5 to 15 V and delivers 10 W×2 into an 8 Ω speaker with a 12 V supply.
Strong EMI suppression, achieved through the part’s integrated spread-spectrum modulation, eliminates the need for expensive filters on the audio outputs.
