Tiny sensor targets mobile designs
Aimed at mobile and battery-driven devices, the SHTC3 digital humidity and temperature sensor from Sensirion measures relative humidity from 0 to 100%, accurate to within ±2% from 20% to 80% RH. Temperature measurements are performed over a range of -40°C to +125°C, with accuracy of ±0.2°C from +5°C to +60°C.
The SHTC3 CMOSens is a complete sensor system on a single chip, comprising a capacitive humidity sensor, a bandgap temperature sensor, analog and digital signal processing, ADC, calibration data memory, and a digital communication interface supporting I2C fast mode.
