LONDON A. Fox Systems of Barnsley, is the 100th company to join the Electronics Yorkshire network. Arthur Gillatt, Electronics Yorkshire chief executive, said: “This is a significant milestone in the growing success of our organization. We aim to build on that success and attract even more electronics companies from across Yorkshire and the Humber to join the network.”
The organization’s network was launched in August and many of its members have taken advantage of the numerous training courses and workshops that have been set up to enable problem solving and deliver answers to many of the practical concerns of the region’s electronics industry.
Electronics Yorkshire recently opened a South Yorkshire training facility, located within TWI’s Technology Centre at Orgreave in Sheffield, and in 2005 plan to provide the region’s electronics companies with localised training and support facilities in the Humber and North Yorkshire.
