EMC York expands into international two-day event
London, UK The 8th annual EMC York conference and exhibition to be held in July has expanded in to a two-day event and added an international dimension. The event organised by York EMC Services, in association with the IEE, will have a technical conference is guided by an international technical steering committee selected for their complementary EMC expertise
Chris Marshman, managing director of York EMC Services, said, “The added international dimension to the conference reflects the globalisation of electronics and therefore EMC related industries and the need for often simultaneous compliance in many countries.”
The committee includes Prof Andrew Marvin (University of York), Prof Johan Catrysse (KBHO Oostende, Belgium), Prof Heyno Garbe (University of Hanover, Germany), and Prof Gyorgy Varju (Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary).
The conference and exhibition will take place at York Race on the 1st and 2nd of July. The conference will have number of parallel streams to choose from, including dedicated workshops (on EMC and Railways for example), academic papers, standards updates to keep abreast of ever changing EMC technical requirements and EMC legislation.
