Farnell improves Hungarian access

LONDON — Shortly after launching in Poland, Premier Farnell plc has launched in Hungary using the Farnell brand. Supported by a Hungarian language website with access to over 400,000 products from 1,200 suppliers, Farnell’s Hungarian distribution service is to provide next day delivery.

Farnell’s direct entry into Hungary gives the company a two tier approach to the market. The current sub-distribution arrangements will continue for customers preferring billing in Forint or simply wishing to keep existing arrangements.

Dealing direct with Farnell provides the next day delivery, an increased product range and international currency billing.

Robert Rospedzihowski, Farnell's general manager for eastern Europe said, “Coming so soon after our Polish launch we are the first global distributor to provide a Hungarian website as well as Hungarian speaking customer service representatives.”
