French GPU specialist seeks partners
LONDON A French company which specialises in accelerating time consuming algorithms and applications which are used to solve different industrial, scientific problems is looking partners for a joint venture agreement or licence agreement.
GPU-Tech (Villeneuve d'Ascq, France) which was set up in 2006 ports applications to a graphic processing unit (GPU) and has developed several optimised routines.
Algorithms the company have worked on include BLAS, LAPACK, Monte Carlo, Black & Scholes, and Navier & Stokes. It is working with both ATI and Nvidia to optimize its technology.
