LONDON Geensys (Boulogne-Billancourt, France), the specialist provider of embedded development tools, value-added embedded engineering and consulting services, and embedded software IP, has expanded into Germany with the opening of a direct sales and support office in Munich.
Formed recently from the merger of TNI-Software and Ayrton Technology, Geensys has over 200 employees.
“The opening of our new sales and support office in Germany is the next logical step in strengthening our European presence,” said Eliane Fourgeau, vice president of sales & marketing for Geensys. “Complementing our direct offices in China and Japan, with the opening of the office in Munich we are much better positioned to serve and support the German embedded market and drive our business forward.”
Heading up Geensys’ Munich office is Ingo Bruse, sales director for the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region. He brings to Geensys over 10 years experience in the embedded and real-time world. His has worked in technical support, sales and sales management through to business development with companies including QNX Software Systems, ARC International and Solid Information Technology.
“This is an extremely exciting move for Geensys,” said Bruse. “It will enable us to better serve our already strong and fast growing customer base in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Automotive and industrial automation are traditional key markets in this region.”
