HumiSeal Europe is new name for Concoat Ltd

LONDON — Concoat Ltd, which last year was purchased by HumiSeal’s parent company Chase Corp, has changed its name to HumiSeal Europe Ltd. The company has been manufacturing HumiSeal products for the European marketplace for over 25 years.

Last week Concoat Systems, which was not included in the deal when the Concoat group was purchased, morphed into Gen3 Systems Ltd.

“Our reputation for quality and leadership in the conformal coatings industry goes beyond materials alone”, stated David Greenman, managing director of HumiSeal Europe.

“By operating in the U.S. and Europe under the same name, we make it crystal clear that we can offer a seamless transition between our manufacturing, sales and technical support services, with products that are tested and certified independently to military and automotive standards throughout the world.”

“We expect to grow between 5 and 10% this year. We are winning new projects all the time, in a broad range of industries, from the fishing tackle and white goods sectors to the highly advanced aerospace and military sectors,” said Greenman. “Our new name truly makes us part of the HumiSeal family and opens the door completely for real, in-depth co-operation.”

According to Phil Kinner, the company's chief chemist in the U.K., “The R&D teams in the U.S. and the U.K. tend to focus on different areas according to our market demands, so we can now tap into an expanded pool of experience and expertise for development and problem solving. A few years ago Concoat developed a range of water-based materials to comply with new European VOC restrictions; at that time there was no need for a similar product in the USA, but this may now be changing so, rather than re-invent the wheel, our U.S. partners can simply adopt our own 1H20 grades.”

More recently, the European team enjoyed an successful launch of UV curing products. “With Humiseal UV40 our global client base can now benefit from high-speed throughput, flexible and broad-ranging temperature tolerances never before achieved with UV coating materials, whilst still guaranteeing excellent performance both in production and in the field.”
