Icera looking to float says FT report

LONDON — Icera, the Bristol-based developer of soft modem technology for mobile broadband phone and data devices, is reported to be considering floating on the London Stock Exchange.

A report in today's Financial Times says the company planning the move which will give it an estimated value of between $600m and $1bn (about £618 million).

The move would be the UK’s first semiconductor flotation since CSR, the bluetooth chip company, went public in 2004 according to the FT report.
