LONDON Howard Ingleson has become managing director of Syfer Technology Ltd, the Dover Electronics company based in Norwich.
John Plaskett, who managing director of Syfer since 1999, has left the company. He along technical director, Derek Nicker, have seen through the acquisition of Syfer by the Dover Corporation in 2000. The pair had worked for the company and its former owners for nearly 70 years.
Ingleson (left) joined Syfer in 1995 from Oxley where he was the business manager of the EMI filter division and was brought in to Syfer to spearhead the introduction of EMI filter products. He became quality and environmental manager in 1999; sales and marketing manager in 2004 and was more recently European sales manager for the newly formed cluster sales organization, the CPG.The CPG (Ceramic Products Group) of Dover Electronics was formed to combine the sales forces of Syfer Technology Ltd, Dielectric Laboratories Inc, Novacap Inc and Voltronics Corp. This strategic integration provides access to a broad range of ceramic products from a larger sales team with global coverage.
